Swim Meet FAQs
Q: What does my swimmer need to bring to the meet?
A: Swimmers should bring the obvious essentials: swimsuit, towel, cap, and goggles. Swimmers are asked to sit in one area or "Team Camp," and they may want to bring an extra towel to sit on. Healthy snacks and a water bottle can be brought.
Q: What shouldn't my swimmer bring?
A: Leave behind the obvious: crabby attitude and poor sportsmanship, along with anything valuable. The camp area gets wet, so swimmers are advised not to bring anything they don't want to lose or get damaged.
Q: What should parents bring to the meet?
A: Unless scheduled to work a meet, parents may want to bring a lawn chair and snacks. Every pool has a concession stand. Siblings of our swimmers are more than welcome, along with grandparents and other relatives.
Q: What shouldn't parents bring to a meet?
A: We'd like our parents to also leave behind the obvious: crabby attitude and poor sportsmanship, along with alcoholic beverages and smoking materials.
Q: Is there a fee to get into the swim meets?
A: No, all swim meets are free to attend.
